A pocket-handkerchief sized piece of heaven on earth...utter tranquility and an atmosphere & character all its own. The village is gorgeous and the people so helpful and kind. Deer crash around in the woods, more Dumbo than Bambi ! It takes 24 hours for the lizards to realise you're here, then they just show off all the time. There's a cognitively-challenged goat down in the valley, which gets lost twice a day and makes a big noise about it. No need to rescue it, its showing off too. Casa Roverella was built an artist first, a craftsman second and a builder third. We'll be back, but we guess you'll soon need a 20 week season. David & Lesley H. Norfolk.

We feel really privileged to have stayed in this stunning villa, with its majestic views and scenery. Our only regret is to leave, as our pace of life has slowed considerably. Exploring the towns and restuarants has also been a highlight. Philip & Cassandra

We had an excellent two weeks, thank you ! We love the house, the pool and the sound of goat bells in the morning. And we enjoyed the lizards...the boys rescued many of them from the pool, some successfully and some not (despite being given CPR). Stephanie, David, Alex & Thomas, Norfolk England
